Jaume Balaguer (Palma, 1971): Majorcan freelance illustrator and comic book artist to pace of blues.
Picasso said that all children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist when you grow up. So I’m on it.

Jaume Balaguer

I began to regularly publish comic pages in the Sunday supplement RifiRafe and since then a good part of my work has been related to the local press: strips, caricatures and a lot of illustrations for Diario de Mallorca and especially for Ultima Hora, dBalears and other publications of the Grup Serra.

I have been a regular contributor to Esquitx magazine and published in magazines for children such as Cavall Fort or Mister K. I have also done illustrations for Editorial Moll, Editorial Dolmen, Edicions General Clúster and for various publications of the Government of the Balearic Islands and other institutions of the administration.
Currently, since 2007, I publish daily the strip of humor and politician actuality “Albercocs i Cireres" in the newspaper Ultima Hora.
